We liked this hotel and would definitely come back. Everything at this classy venue was first-class as we expected. Its location was perfect and excellent, close enough to the beach, and in a cozy area. the room was brand-new, had a great-sized bathroom.

The Viceroy staff members were extremely courteous and respectful. My husband and I were treated very well, and any request we made was granted with efficiency. We both really appreciate the professionalism and expertise of James, our Concierge.

Upon approaching the Concierge desk to pick up vouchers, I noticed that a Viceroy guest was seated at the Concierge desk, using the desktop computer, and talking loudly on his cell phone. The language he was using in his conversation was innapropriate and extremely offensive. Although I quickly realized that this man was clearly not the concierge, I also felt embarrassed that this behavior is what anyone would witness upon entering or exiting the Viceroy.

Everything was very good, so were memorable views of the ocean. The hotel rooms were a nice size and newly renovated. Had central location close to everything. Dined at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, it was at a moderate distance from the venue.

I stayed for three nights and had breakfast at the lobby restaurant, and I really appreciated the lovely design of this place.

The staff here is super friendly and provides excellent service, not to mention the amazing breakfast they serve.

Tasteful indoor decoration. Very upbeat modern vibe. Good valet service for car pickup.

Room lacked some very basic and common amenities:no shower cap; coffee maker; no bath mat inside the very old and high edged bathtubs. Would have been so easy to slip. Also the end table lamps had pull chains placed so high, we had to get out of bed in order to turn them off and on. Very strange. We specifically asked for a very quiet room when we booked and it was noted on the computer when we checked in (thank you), but they didn't tell us was that the Viceroy is now an upbeat night club until 1 a.m. every weekend night with a throbbing base which rocks the wall all the way up to our 7th story room. We couldn't sleep until after 1 am. We just thought somebody should have warned us.

A nice size and brand-new room, all in all had very good stay.

Very warm and friendly staff, particular evening ambient, nice for a dinner in the garden or just for a drink. Very comfortable room with nice ocean view. Best location to visit la area.

The newly renovated unit we stayed in was centrally located not far from Ocean Park Ranch where our kids had the sofa bed, making it very convenient for us.

Wall thin as paper. Heard everything in adjacent rooms. Been woke up multiple times by party outside & party in conectig room & and even heard the tv from the adjacent room in the morning ... Party with dj on friday and saturday night at the pool area = was like having a dj in our room until 1 am. Drinks at the bar overpriced, breakfast overpriced, parking overpriced. Over all hotel over rated and over priced­. Would never go back!

My main reason for staying at the Viceroy was to look at the Interior designs

The lobby, bar and restaurant were too dark and noisy - no sound attenuation

The hotel's staff is service-oriented and provided a very good stay. Our room was brand-new, nicely furnished, with a great view and very good beds.

The platforms of the beds stick out too far...I Have a large scrape and bruise from hitting one of them...no manager was available to talk with
